It does not appear that Donald Trump is going to lock down the Hip-Hop vote anytime soon.

R&B singer The Weeknd and rapper Belly canceled their scheduled appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!  Wednesday because they did not want to appear in the same episode as the presumptive GOP nominee.

“I feel like the way I was raised was to be able to see through all the titles in this world — from religion to race,” Belly said in a statement. “I just didn’t want to feel like I was a part of a celebration for somebody who has beliefs that majority of us don’t agree with.”

Trump has consistently faced protests during his campaign for president due to passionate opposition to his proposals to keep Muslims from entering the U.S., to deport millions of undocumented workers and to build a wall along the border with Mexico. Benedict Arnold may have some unlikely new competition for America’s biggest turncoat.

In the debut issue of Marvel Comics’ Captain America: Steve Rogers out today, the star-spangled superhero of comic books and movies is revealed to be — and always has been — an agent of the evil organization Hydra, a ruthless bunch that Cap’s been fighting since World War II.

It’s a flooring disclosure for the popular character who celebrated his 75th anniversary this year and is currently on the big screen in Captain America: Civil War. But Marvel executive editor Tom Brevoort confirms that it’s really Steve Rogers and not some clone, shapeshifting Skrull, Life Model Decoy or a Cap from an alternate universe.

HIGH WYCOMBE, England — The mother of a British man killed while fighting alongside terrorists in Somalia says families of would-be militants should take their passports to block them from traveling abroad.

Sally Evans’ son, Thomas, traveled to Somalia five years ago to join al-Shabab, a group linked to al-Qaeda, and died in June at age 25. Their story was the subject of a TV documentary called My Son the Jihadi.

This week, another mother of a terrorist from London made a similar plea for authorities to take passports to prevent loved ones from becoming militants abroad.

A son of Maha Elgizouli was identified this week as the fourth member of an Islamic State cell of Britons dubbed the “Beatles” by their hostages in Syria.
